Our first mosaic art was completed last Saturday after collecting $981 on a single day! The total donation reached $1803.08!!

THANK YOU for your generous support!! Please look at the progress above!! The total donation reached $735.08. (Why 8 cents? I don’t know…).
The art would need about $1,500 in total to be completed, not about $1,000 as previously thought.

Sayako Dairiki, a Winters based professional mosaic artist, and her friends in Davis started a Mosaic Art for Japan project in May 14.
Please help us complete this Japanese flag mosaic art!
We will be at the Davis Farmers Market on June 11, Sat, from 8:00am to 1:00pm.
We are collecting donation of $1 in exchange of 1 marble/glass mosaic stone.
When completed, it will look like the picture below.
We need about 1,000 pieces of stone to complete this masterpiece.
We were able to collect $375.00 in May. This money enabled us to make some progress, as seen below. Thank you for your generous support and hope to see you all at the Farmers’ Market this Saturday!
